KCPD General Counsel

is a life-long resident of Kansas City, Missouri and has been employed by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department since 1979 when she entered the Police Academy as a Reserve Officer Candidate. She graduated magna cum laude from Avila College in 1982 with a B.A. in Political Science. Lisa attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree with Distinction in December, 1993. In January, 1994, she became employed full-time with the Legal Advisor's Office of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department as the Vehicular Accident Administrator. In June, 1994, she became Assistant Legal Advisor. Lisa is an instructor at the Regional Police Academy, teaching entrant officers Constitutional Law and Missouri Statutory Law.
