Victim: Kimberly Cowhick
Discovered: 72nd and N. Brighton

On 1-14-1994, at about 1230 hours the victim’s body was discovered laying in a field of densely brush and weeded area south of 72nd and North Brighton by workers clearing the area for utility lines.  The victim’s body may have been at this location for some time and died of a gunshot wound as reported by the Medical Examiner.  The victim was last seen alive on November 28, 1993 by her boyfriend when she left a motel near Independence Avenue and Paseo walking to a nearby store and never returned. 

 

The victim was a known prostitute that frequented the area of 18th and Mainand the Independence Avenue area and may have been murdered in connection to her prostitution activities.
