On 10-18-1994, at
0436 hours officers were dispatched to 3744 Warwick on a disturbance in the courtyard of
the apartments. Upon arrival the
officers observed apartment #1
had an open door and then observed the victim lying on her back just inside the
door and had blood on her. The officers
called for an ambulance and checked the interior of the apartment revealing no
one else. The victim was pronounced dead
at the scene, suffering from apparent stab wounds. Witness reported hearing a female screaming
for help.

The victim was later identified as 26 year old TWILA HARRIS.
A male was seen running away from the scene towards 38th and
Walnut, but no other information was able to be developed.
