The Kansas City Missouri Police Department will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the new North Patrol Division. This is the Police Department’s final capital project funded by the Public Safety Sales Tax.

WHO: Speakers will include Interim Police Chief David Zimmerman and City Council Members Teresa Loar, Dan Fowler and Scott Wagner. Several other City Council members, Board of Police Commissioners members, City Manager Troy Schulte and Aviation Director Pat Klein also are set to attend.

WHAT: Ribbon-cutting ceremony, station tours, light refreshments

WHEN: 10 a.m. Friday, June 23

WHERE: New North Patrol Division, 11000 N.W. Prairie View Rd., Kansas City, Mo.
(Take the N. 112th Street exit from I-29 and turn west). The ceremony is set to take place in front of the building. In the event of rain, it will be in the sally port.
