September 28, 2021 Closed Session Votes

Below are the votes from the closed session of the Board of Police Commissioners meeting on September 28, 2021.

 

Mayor Lucas and Commissioner Wagner had excused absences.

 

Following a motion by Commissioner Dean and a second by Commissioner Cramer, the Board voted to go into closed session to discuss litigation matters, personnel matters, and labor negotiations.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Tolbert voted Aye, Commissioner Dean voted Aye, and Commissioner Cramer voted Aye.

 

Following a motion by Commissioner Dean and a second by Commissioner Cramer, the Board voted to approve the applications for continued employment of Police Officer Joe Smith and Reserve Police Officer Mitchell Branch.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Tolbert voted Aye, Commissioner Dean voted Aye, and Commissioner Cramer voted Aye.

 

Following a motion by Commissioner Dean and a second by Commissioner Cramer, the Board voted to grant the non-duty related disability retirement application of ___________.[1]  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Tolbert voted Aye, Commissioner Dean voted Aye, and Commissioner Cramer voted Aye.

 

Following a motion by Commissioner Dean and a second by Commissioner Cramer, the Board voted to approve the minutes of the closed session of the Board of Police Commissioners on August 31, 2021.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Tolbert voted Aye, Commissioner Dean voted Aye, and Commissioner Cramer voted Aye.

 

Following a motion by Commissioner Dean and a second by Commissioner Cramer, the Board voted to come out of closed session and adjourn.  The vote was 3-0 in favor.  Following polling, Commissioner Tolbert voted Aye, Commissioner Dean voted Aye, and Commissioner Cramer voted Aye.

 

The Board adjourned at 1:39 p.m.
