Refer to Fees for Records for report fees and enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request. The turnaround for request has increased to 8 to 12 weeks. The turnaround for online request through the (RAR) Lexis Nexis Request A Report is 12-16 weeks.

How to obtain your case report number
Call the Records Section Criminal Records Section at 816-234-5100. The current hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Closed weekends and holidays. The Criminal Records Section no longer has a Bond Desk.
Headquarters-only services
Some types of report requests can only be fulfilled at Police Headquarters, located at 1125 Locust. These include archived police reports prior to 1999 and subpoenas.
