KCPD Walks For Unity with Unite KC

Members of the Kansas City Missouri Police department joined residents at the 2nd annual Walk For Unity, organized by Unite KC, on Saturday, July 9.

The goal of the walk, according to the Unite KC, was for attendees to meet and get to know strangers in the hopes of discovering common ground.

The walk began at Troost Avenue and Truman Road, ending at the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy.
