General Public Records Request

If you are an attorney or insurer, please use the Attorney/Insurer Records Request Form instead of this one. By law, certain records may be open upon request to certain individuals but closed to the general public. Please state your interest in the records requested (such as general public, named party in record, victim, etc.) so that KCPD may determine whether those records, if closed to the public, may be available to you. Turn-around time for some requests is four to six weeks. If you need further clarification regarding your request, contact: Custodian of Records, Criminal Records Section 1125 Locust St. Kansas City, MO 64106 816-234-5100
