Title VI Program
The Kansas City Missouri Police Department (KCPD) gives public notice of its policy to uphold and assure full compliance with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other non-discrimination authorities. Title VI and related non-discrimination authorities stipulate that no person in the United States of America shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income level or Limited English Proficiency (LEP) be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

Any person who believes he or she has been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the Office of Community Complaints:
- Complaints may be filed in person at the Office of Community Complaints, the AD-HOC office, Northland Neighborhoods, Inc., the Westside CAN Center, or the nearest police station.
- Complaints may also be submitted online by downloading the form, filling it out and submitting it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Complaints must be filed within 180 days after the date of the occurrence.
