Internet Crimes Against Children

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detectives are assigned to the FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force (CCTF). They are responsible for identifying and prosecuting online sexual predators who use the internet to meet and exploit children and who produce, possess, or share child pornography. ICAC detectives work on a multi-jurisdictional team and can submit cases for state or federal prosecution, depending on individual circumstances.

  • Child Pornography
  • Any Internet Crime Involving a Child

How to report an incident of child exploitation and child pornography:

  • Walk into the nearest KCPD Division Station 
  • Call 911 if a child is in immediate danger
  • You can also make a report of these types of incidents at Cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).
