Police recruits from the 177the Entrant Officer Class graduated from the Regional Police Academy the evening of August 3rd.

Before family and friends, the recruits (now officers) culminated their seven months of training. Earlier in the day, the officers received their badges and were sworn in by Chief Stacey Graves.

Officer Morgan Haddix received the Class Resiliency Award for her ability to overcome adversity, manage stress, maintain peak performance, and strive during training.

Officer Carlos Hernandez receive the Class Director’s Award for demonstrating his skills in academic achievement, physical training, positive attitude, teamwork, and leadership.
