Thank a Department Member
Has a police officer, call taker, desk clerk or another member of KCPD helped you out, and you’d like to express your thanks? Or did you see a department member do an exceptional job? By sending a letter to the Police Chief electronically or the old-fashioned way, the officer or staff member and his or her chain of command will get a copy of your message, and it will go in his or her personnel file.
Try to get the officer or professional staff member’s name and where he or she is assigned. If you do not know their name, try to add as much description as possible. You can send your thanks by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or by regular mail to:
