To thank officers who are working on Christmas, Taking it to the Streets will be cooking steak dinners for over 200 Kansas City Missouri police officers tomorrow.

They will be cooking in their food truck outside of Police Headquarters, 1125 Locust St., Kansas City, Mo., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. KCPD chaplains will be picking up the dinners at about 1 p.m. and delivering them to patrol stations for department members working the day and evening shifts.

Taking it to the Streets aids first responders throughout the entire year with food, water and supplies on emergency calls that last for an extended period of time. They are currently 100% volunteer based.

The chaplains and Taking it to the Streets want the working officers to know they are being thought of on Christmas.
