KCPD Gives Out 500 Ham Dinners

KCPD handed out 500 ham dinners to community members who visited East Patrol Division on April 12.

Hy-Vee donated the hams and Harvesters donated “meal kits,” boxes full of canned foods and sides. Together and with volunteers, the organizations provided hundreds of Kansas City families holiday dinners prior to Easter.

While the event began at 4 p.m., the line of vehicles began forming hours earlier.
