Officers Save Choking Baby

In this video, you see Detective Lauren Montgomery (gray jacket) administer back blows to a baby that was choking and not breathing. The parents were frantic.

Officer Brett Ussary, meanwhile, rushed into University Health for help. While he was doing so, Montgomery dislodged an object from the baby’s airway, who began gasping for air and crying.

The officers were leaving the hospital after conducting interviews when they came upon the family in February.
